About Liam

I was born in America to first generation French and Irish parents. Throughout my life I have bounced about the world and have benefitted greatly from the cultural contrast that defines my life to this day. I am fluent in French, conversational in Italian, and am currently learning Gaelic. I studied History and Archeology in my early 20s in both American and French universities before setting myself on the goal of becoming an author, though my love of history remains an integral part of both my personal inspiration and teaching style. Aside from academic pursuits I am an avid love of Tabletop Roleplaying games as well as gaming in general, which I see as a fascinating evolution of ancient storytelling traditions. Above all that is my true passion; Storytelling. I am eager to share my love, both for experiencing stories from historical and modern literature, as well as enabling people to tell their own stories in as clear and widely accessible a manner as possible.

About the lesson

I find the key to fostering a passion and skill for literature and creative writing is in the study of texts and their deeper meaning. I am currently completing a BA with Honors in English Literature with a focus on creative writing and European history; resultantly I believe I could be of most help to Primary and Secondary School students, though I am eager to help anyone who aims to work as a writer themselves. I aim for sessions to last between one and two hours, and am happy to tailor my sessions to the needs of my students.
