I’m a Level 5 TEFL-qualified tutor with over five years of teaching and tutoring experience, working with children, teenagers and adults from the UK and around the world, including students in the USA, UAE, China and Pakistan.

My experience includes English, IELTS, 11+, humanities, study skills, Life in the UK Test preparation and English-language tests linked to UK immigration and settlement. I have supported many international learners preparing for study, work and life in English-speaking countries.

I’ve taught 50+ IELTS learners, and some of my former students in the UK have gone on to build successful professional careers after completing their English and IELTS preparation with me.

I’m multilingual, speaking English, Urdu and Punjabi, and I enjoy working with learners from different cultures and backgrounds. My approach is patient, practical and personalised, with a strong focus on confidence, communication and helping students become independent learners.

About the lesson

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. I take time to understand how each student learns, where they’re struggling, and what they want to achieve, then build lessons around them.

My sessions are friendly, structured, and encouraging, with clear explanations and plenty of opportunity to ask questions without feeling judged or rushed.

Whether we’re preparing for the 11+, improving English and writing skills, working towards an exam, or simply rebuilding confidence, I break learning into manageable steps. I also help students of all ages develop the skills behind academic success, organisation, time management, critical thinking, exam technique, and independent study habits.

My aim isn’t simply to help students get through the next test. I want them to understand what they’re learning, become more confident in their abilities, and gradually need less help from me.
