Teaching Methodology and Techniques
Interactive Learning: I believe in a hands-on approach where students actively participate in their learning process. This includes discussions, role-playing, and problem-solving exercises.
Customized Lessons: Understanding that each student has unique needs and learning styles, I tailor my lessons to suit individual requirements.
Cultural Context: Since language is deeply intertwined with culture, I integrate cultural elements into lessons to provide a more holistic understanding of the English language.
Typical Lesson Plan
Introduction: Review of the previous lesson's material and setting objectives for the current session.
Interactive Activity: Engaging the student with a conversation, game, or exercise related to the day's topic.
Main Lesson: Focused teaching on the core topic, be it grammar, vocabulary, reading, or writing skills.
Practice Exercise: Application of learned concepts through exercises or writing assignments.
Discussion and Feedback: Summarize key points and discuss any doubts or questions.
Homework Assignment: Providing exercises or reading material for further practice.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
Empathy and Patience: Understanding students' challenges and providing a supportive learning environment.
Customization and Flexibility: Ability to adapt teaching methods and content to meet the evolving needs of students.
Lifelong Learner: Constantly updating my own skills and knowledge to provide the most current and effective teaching strategies.
Who the Lessons are For
Levels: Catering to all levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
Specific Needs: Tailoring lessons for specific purposes like academic English, business English, exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL), or conversational skills.
Age Groups: Welcoming students of all ages, from young learners to adults.
Diverse Backgrounds: Experienced in teaching non-native speakers from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
