My name is John Fowler. I have been teaching English for 25 years at primary and intermediate schools in Auckland, New Zealand. I enjoy tutoring students and building the relationships that will lead to their success in reading and writing in English.

I like to establish strong relationships with my students to accurately identify their individual learning needs and tailor my instruction accordingly. Open communication is pivotal to ensure they feel supported and confident expressing their specific needs. Lessons will be between 45 min to 60 min long. My preferred age group is Year 5 through to Year 8.
