In classical education, a great deal of time is spent instilling a sense of wonder without the use of technology. Entire novels are read and annotated to prepare for seminar to answer and discuss questions that invoke deeper thinking. Intensive instruction is given on putting those thoughts into writing (handwritten, not typed), into rough drafts, proofread, edited, then into final drafts.
