About Olivia
I’m an LSO from a decorated Melbourne Secondary school and pre-service teacher in Melbourne, additionally specialising in special education. I tutor English and Humanities based subjects online/in person (negotiable) tutoring available for students aged 12-18. I’m passionate about helping students thrive by creating student-focused lessons that cater to individual needs. Outside of teaching, I enjoy movies, reading, family time, and long walks.

I use interactive, student-centered techniques to enhance understanding and engagement, with lessons typically lasting 60 minutes. This would mainly be for students aged between 12-18, but this can be negotiable. Within my primary job, I frequently tutor all of the listed topics, having all lessons be able to orientate around your child’s needs and wants for improvement and revision. For example, by focusing on essay writing and text analysis.

We had a great experience with Olivia. My son was having a tough time understanding ‘Twelfth Night’ for his English assessment. She really helped him break down the text and he went from being totally confused to actually enjoying it. Definitely recommend Olivia if your kid needs help with English, especially Shakespeare!
