I recently obtained my TEFL Certificate to teach English as a second language. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of the English language to enable you to converse comfortably and make yourself understood when you need to speak English, but having not taught as a teacher in a classroom before I intend to keep my lessons simple but fun, modern and interesting to keep you motivated. I am a mature lady living in Port Elizabeth, South Africa who is very eager to share my knowledge of the English language to students who are looking to improve their English vocabulary. My primary aim is to introduce the correct communicative approach in grammar and pronunciation. Having obtained my TEFL Graduate Certificate recently, achieving 88%, my lesson plan and my teaching methods will be based on what I have learnt in the TEFL Course, concentrating on productive skills, such as speaking, writing, reading and listening from beginners to advanced level of students. My philosophy in life is: keep it simple, but fun !
