English Specialist - AQA and Edexcel experience. - English tutor with Johanna

Johanna was really helpful to my daughter Isabelle before her GCSEs, she only saw her a few times but was very good at explaining how to structure questions and essays.

Joanna tutored my daughter through the 2 years of her GCSE course. She was unfailingly patient and gave some great feedback. My daughter looked forward to her sessions with Joanna and stayed motivated and engaged throughout.

Johanna was a fantastic tutor and I could not have asked for a better one. She had a flexible timetable and was always ensured lessons were convenient for the both of us. She came with resources prepared and was great at teaching exam technique. Not only was she able to help me develop my writing, Johanna also helped build my confidence in it; especially when in the exam. Would highly recommend her to anybody.

Johanna has tutored my son for his English Lit and Lang GCSE for the past year. My son has greatly enjoyed working with Johanna and finds her teaching approach easy to understand because she has taken the time to understand his learning style. She has even managed to make the different texts interesting to a 16 year old boy and given him the inspiration to improve his predicted grades. She is willing to set additional work and answer any questions in between the sessions. Her in depth knowledge of the texts and exam boards is excellent and this has provided my son with a lot of confidence going into his exams this Summer.
