About Florence
My name is Flo and I study English literature at Leeds university. I have a passion for writing and hope to pursue a career journalism following my degree. I love all kinds of literature, specifically poetry and modern works. I'm passionate about hearing and discussing other's subjective experience of literature - making tutoring interesting and beneficial for both myself and my students.

I believe it is important to first gage with my students what teaching methods and techniques will best suit their learning experience.
Typically my classes will be an hour long with a focus on specific novels, poems or articles that need discussing and analysing. I will offer my own background knowledge on pieces of literature before offering in- depth advice on how to approach essay writing and structuring. This guidance can take any form that is most effective for the individual - be that step-by-step essay writing flashcards, talking through exemplar answers or quizlet quizzes for memorising quotes.
