About Carien
Hello! I'm Carien.
I'm a passionate English teacher who truly loves helping people learn. Teaching isn't just my job, it's something I genuinely enjoy. One of my favorite parts of teaching is that learning goes both ways. While I share my knowledge with my students, I also learn from them and their unique experiences.
I'm a proud mom of two energetic boys and previously taught at Reddam House, where I gained valuable experience working with learners of different abilities and backgrounds.
I now teach online from the comfort of my home, creating a warm, relaxed, and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
