About Raul

I try to get to know the student, see what his difficulties are. And try to strengthen each student's weaknesses to balance them. Everyone preaches instant conversation, I usually work with grammar (there is no way to structure it in the language without having the base), I also use a lot of videos and audios to improve listening, because without understanding, how can I speak English? Anyway, since the first class the students already speak English ... But without the illusion that grammar is avoidable or that just talking randomly will solve it.

About the lesson

I always liked English, when I was a child and I couldn't afford to study the language, my grandfather brought me textbooks from the school where he was a cook. At first I didn't understand it very well but I liked to see the drawings in the books. In high school, I already knew a little English. Because after years of flipping through English books, it was impossible not to know anything, not to mention that luckily I had a wonderful English teacher at the public school where I studied elementary school. At the age of 14 I started to study English for real and I was lucky to have the best teachers in the universe. They even teach a class, and I can even pass on their contact if you want to meet them too. Already in college (in 2014) I gave English classes to some people and I started teaching more and more. But it was when I had the opportunity to travel outside Brazil through Sciences Without Borders that I had the deepest experience with the language, and that leveraged me in terms of fluency. After I came back from the exchange, I started teaching again, together with the college, because teaching English is something that makes me very happy. Currently, I keep updating myself, keeping in touch with the friends I made, studying didactics and pedagogy applied to language teaching. And I don't intend to stop, as I definitely love English.
