I am a British native with an ESL (Teach English as a Second Langauge) rating and have been speaking English all my life. In the past two years I have spent 7 months teaching in schools across Asia. Now I am working as a teacher in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

My method is based on conversation. When learning a language it is important to feel comfortable using it. I focus my classes on increasing vocabulary, including idioms and phrases common among natives, but not found in textbooks. In this way my students learn practical English naturally. I adapt the classes to your needs and interests. If you want to focus your learning on grammar and theory, the lessons include a brief explanation before starting the conversation or speaking activity. I can also provide worksheets and online assignments to be done before, during, and after class. If you prefer to learn and practice English only by speaking, then the lessons will be based on interesting topics of conversation: changes in today's society, the influence of money, consumption, globalization, the future of energy, animals, travel, movies (for younger students) etc. You have the freedom to choose topics that you are passionate about. At the same time, learn to correctly structure your sentences with new vocabulary. Do you want to learn to use vocabulary about nature? Of course! Do you want to learn new words related to travel? Excellent! Want a grammar review from A1 to C2? No problem! You have the freedom to decide how you want to be taught. Conversations, grammar / reading / writing exercises or classes where we work on all these aspects.
