About Cris
After reviewing your learning needs and level assessment test results, I plan and customize your course so that your goals are achieved quickly and efficiently! The methodology I use in class is called 'communicative student-centered approach'. It means my focus is not on teaching grammar and vocabulary in a traditional way. Instead, I make YOU think, reflect, learn and come to conclusions, not just receive the results from your teacher. You are at the center of learning and our goal together and that you understand the language and its functions. During class, we will have a lot of practical work, involving the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. In addition, you will learn to deal with real situations that can happen during both a job interview and a trip.

I am an English teacher graduated in Letters from UCS and in CELTA from Lewishman / London. In addition to tutoring in Brazil and the UK, I have worked as an ESOL teacher in London and as a reference teacher for foreign high school students in Scarborough / UK. Since I started my career as a teacher, I have been teaching students from different countries, different cultures, varying levels of proficiency and age for over 10 years.
