About Marion

I have taught hundreds of students, both on the elementary and secondary level, to closely analyze a text and to write both creative and formal essays, wherein they prove a thesis. In addition, I have led students to write college essays , which have culminated in the admission to ivy league schools. Lastly, I have prepared students for New York State Regents in English and AP Exams in English. The average grades on the Regents were in the 90s, and that in the AP exams were between 4 and 5, the highest scores.

About the lesson

My teaching style is based upon the needs of the individual. First I establish a personal relationship with the student so that she/he feels comfortable working with me. Then, after an interview, I work on the skills and/or content needed.
