About Atheesha
I have a deep passion for both reading and writing, which I enjoy in my free time. Although I’m currently studying computer science, my love for English has always been a significant part of who I am. I want to teach English because I once struggled with it myself. It wasn’t until I learned how to study the subject effectively that I began to appreciate and enjoy it. Now, I want to share that journey with others—helping students not only improve their skills but also discover how rewarding and enjoyable learning English can be.

Welcome to my English classes, designed specifically for GCSE and SAT students. My goal is to help you build confidence and master essential skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking, all while preparing you for these important exams.
For GCSE Students:
In my GCSE English lessons, I follow the latest curriculum to ensure you grasp both language and literature. We’ll dive into classic and contemporary texts, exploring themes, characters, and literary techniques while practicing how to craft well-structured, evidence-based responses. I’ll also help you develop your creative and transactional writing skills, focusing on improving vocabulary, style, and clarity in everything from essays to narratives.
Here’s what we’ll focus on:
- Close reading and analysis of poetry, novels, and plays.
- Mastering exam techniques for analysis and comparison questions.
- Developing persuasive and descriptive writing.
- Expanding your vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.

For SAT Students:
For SAT prep, I tailor lessons to the specific requirements of the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing sections. Together, we’ll work on improving your reading comprehension across different genres and subjects, while also refining your grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary for the Writing and Language section. I’ll also help you develop smart test-taking strategies so you can manage your time and approach questions confidently.
