Hi, I'm Lewela - a passionate English tutor based in Sky City (Alberton) in Johannesburg. I have a BCom degree in Economics and currently studying towards my Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I offer personalized lessons for learners aged 5 and up, at all levels, including tertiary students and adults. Whether you're looking to improve your grammar, writing, spelling, reading or speech, I tailor each lesson to your unique needs. Lessons are available online or in-person, with flexible scheduling. My goal is to build your skills, confidence and love for the English language.

GOOD TO KNOW! As an English tutor with a BCom in Economics and a passion for teaching, I offer flexible, personalized lessons designed to meet each person's unique goals. I am currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, which enhances my teaching approach with up-to-date methods and learner-centered strategies. WHO I TEACH I work with learners of all ages, from 5-year-olds to adults, and at all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. I also welcome tertiary students and professionals looking to improve their writing and/or communication skills. WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE! My lessons are interactive, supportive, and adapted to suit each learner's level and pace. I focus on building confidence, clarity, and practical language use - whether it's reading, writing, grammar, spelling, academic writing or creative expression. I also provide feedback to ensure steady progress. WHAT STUDENTS CAN EXPECT Students can expect structured, engaging lessons with clear outcomes. Each session is tailored to the individual's strengths, challenges and goals. Lessons can be held online or in-person (home or office visits at an additional cost), with flexible timing to suit busy schedules. LANGUAGES I am proficient in English, Sepedi, Sotho, Tswana and Zulu. All lessons will be taught exclusively in English.
