About Amy
I graduated from Chichester University, and before this obtained an A Level and GCSE in English Literature. At school I competed in The Times Spelling Bee and was always a bookworm. I hope to pass on the love for reading I have acquired as I have grown up. My particular area of focus is assisting children and uni students with any areas of English, though I am happy to tutor adults in areas such as CV skills too, so do not hesitate to enquire.

I believe that the most important part of tutoring is personalising your lesson to you. We will go at your pace - I want this to be your safe space to feel confident in your learning. I want my lessons to be as ‘student-led’ as possible. Instead of throwing lots of information at you and expecting you to remember it, I will allow you to take the lead, and will guide you through areas which you are less confident in until you feel you are 100%.
