About Irene
I'm a communications professional with a background in editorial work and content strategy, where precision in language was part of my daily job. Before that, I studied humanities and have always been drawn to how language works and how to teach it well, not just correct it.
I started tutoring because I noticed how often students are taught grammar as a set of rules to memorize rather than something they can actually use to write better. My goal is to make English feel less like a subject to survive and more like a skill that helps a student express themselves clearly and confidently, in school and beyond.

I teach English with a focus on three things that actually move a student's grades and confidence: strong grammar fundamentals, clear structured writing, and creative expression. As a former Communications Manager with a focus on editorial and content strategy, I've spent two years professionally editing and refining writing for accuracy, clarity, and impact, the same skills I now bring into how I teach.
Sessions are built around your child's specific gaps. We work on grammar through real writing rather than isolated drills, build essay and composition structure step by step, and develop creative writing through guided exercises that build confidence rather than just correctness.
