About Mara
My connection to English began with a love for storytelling, reading, and the power of language to shape ideas. Over the past eleven years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students build confidence and clarity through English. Teaching became a natural extension of my own passion for communication, allowing me to share the joy of reading, writing, and expression with learners of all ages. Guiding students through their academic challenges and watching their confidence grow continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I am a patient, thoughtful, and adaptable teacher who values individualized support. I take time to understand each student’s learning style, challenges, and strengths, tailoring each lesson to meet their needs. My teaching emphasizes clarity, emotional connection, and structured progress. I encourage students to ask questions, reflect deeply, and engage creatively with language. Whether a learner struggles with grammar, writing organization, or speaking confidence, I provide step-by-step guidance that builds trust, independence, and long-term skill. Outside of lessons, I remain deeply connected to the world of language through reading, workshops, writing practice, and ongoing professional development. I believe that learning never stops, and I bring that same mindset to my teaching. Helping students grow into thoughtful, articulate, and confident communicators remains one of my greatest joys.

Intermediate students focus on structured writing, analytical thinking, expanded vocabulary, and confident speaking. Advanced learners refine essay writing, literary analysis, rhetorical skills, exam preparation, and expressive communication. Lessons include reading assignments, guided writing tasks, targeted exercises, and constructive feedback to support steady progress. Each session is tailored to the student’s goals, ensuring that learning feels both manageable and rewarding.
