About Maria Eduarda
Hi, my name is Maria Eduarda, I'm Brazilian and I have about eight years of experience working as an English Teacher/Tutor, including online classes. I teach all ages and levels of English.
I studied for two and a half years Business Management in Florianópolis, at the State University of Santa Catarina, where I worked as a volunteer teacher in a project of free English classes for the community.
I have also been a Scout for over 15 years and in 2019 I started a volunteer project with my group, teaching English to the kids and exchanging letters with another scout group in the US.
Nowadays, I'm studying Law at University of Porto, teach private English classes for adults, teens and children and I do translation work.

In the first class, I use the first few minutes to observe the student's knowledge and identify their needs.
From there, I combine games, music and stories with the traditional method of exercises, because I believe this makes the teaching and learning process more interesting, personalized and effective, always working on Writing/Reading and Listening/Speaking skills.
