About Amber
I am an English tutor with 7 years of experience, holding an M.A. in English Literature and Critical Communication. My passion for English comes from its ability to shape ideas, deepen reasoning, and connect people through storytelling and argument. Over the years, I have guided learners from everyday speakers to advanced academic writers, helping them grow in clarity and confidence.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability. I help students build strong foundations while also exploring deeper reading, debate, and writing skills. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners develop strong grammar foundations, vocabulary depth, reading insight, and essay-writing clarity. Students explore challenging texts, debate-style discussions, storytelling practice, and structured writing strategies that build both skill and confidence. Lessons are adapted to each student’s needs. Beginners work on sentence building, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation clarity, and basic conversation. Intermediate learners strengthen analytical reading, paragraph organization, speaking confidence, and grammar fluency. Advanced students refine argumentative essays, research writing, debate preparation, and nuanced expression of complex ideas. Each session includes feedback that encourages growth.
