About Odunayo
Hello! I’m Odunayo, a qualified and passionate English tutor with a B.A.Ed in English and over 5 years of teaching experience.
I enjoy helping learners become more confident in English and discover that learning can be both enjoyable and rewarding. I work with students from Early Years through secondary school, adapting my lessons to suit their individual age, ability and learning goals.
My lessons are friendly, structured and interactive. I believe every learner can make progress when they receive the right support, so I create a patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying again.
Whether your child needs help with reading, phonics, grammar, vocabulary, writing, comprehension or exam preparation, I’m committed to helping them build strong skills and lasting confidence.

I’m a qualified and experienced English tutor with a B.A.Ed in English and over 5 years of teaching experience. I have worked with learners across different age groups, from Early Years and primary school to secondary level, helping students develop stronger English skills and greater confidence in their learning.
My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive and personalized. I take time to understand each learner’s current level, strengths and areas for improvement, then adapt my lessons to suit their individual learning needs and goals.
Rather than simply giving students answers, I encourage them to think, ask questions, explain their ideas and apply what they have learned. I use clear explanations, guided practice, questioning, reading activities, examples, games and carefully selected exercises to make lessons engaging and effective.
Lessons typically last 1 hour and can support learners with phonics, reading, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, writing and general English. I also provide academic support and exam preparation for learners working towards qualifications such as UK SATs, 11+, GCSE and IGCSE.
Whether your child needs extra support with schoolwork, wants to strengthen their English skills, or is preparing for an important examination, my goal is to create a supportive learning environment where they can make steady progress, become more confident and enjoy learning.
