About Beth
Hello! I'm Beth and I'm a First Class (Hons) English graduate with an MA in International Journalism. I love helping students build confidence and learn new things, whether that’s through improving grammar, developing essay-writing skills or preparing for exams. With experience tutoring both primary school children and university graduates, I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s needs. I believe learning should feel supportive, engaging and tailored to your goals. If you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to help you grow.

I offer friendly, 30-minute Zoom lessons focused on your specific goals. Whether you want to improve your grammar and speaking confidence or advance your reading comprehension or essay writing, I personalise each session to support your progress.
Our first session will establish what your goals are and how I can best support you. I prepare a tailored plan to address your specific challenges and ensure progress within the available timeframe.
I have worked as a tutor since 2020, after completing my BA in English Literature and Language and MA in International Journalism. I have also completed TEFL training.
I work with learners of all ages and levels, from primary school to university students and adult learners, which means I'm easily able to tailor my approach to teaching.
