About Roni

Hi! I’m a friendly and creative tutor with a background in architecture, now also working with horses—so I bring both structure and patience into everything I do. I used to teach drama and dance to children, helping them build confidence, memorise lines, and express themselves, which now shapes my fun and interactive English lessons.

I achieved a 7 in International Baccalaureate Higher Level English Literature and an A* in IGCSE First Language English and Literature (English), and I love helping younger students (below GCSE level) grow in confidence and enjoy using English. My lessons are relaxed, engaging, and full of encouragement—designed to help every child feel comfortable, curious, and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

I am a friendly and enthusiastic English tutor at the beginning of my teaching journey, passionate about helping young learners grow in confidence and enjoy expressing themselves. I aim to teach children working below GCSE level, supporting them in building strong foundations in reading, writing, and speaking. My teaching style is warm, patient, and highly interactive, with a strong focus on discussion-based lessons that encourage children to share their ideas, ask questions, and build their speaking skills naturally. Having previously taught drama to children, I have experience helping them memorise lines, develop confidence in speaking, and even create simple choreography—skills that I now bring into my English lessons to make them lively, creative, and fun. I love creating engaging activities and conversations that spark curiosity, making learning feel exciting rather than intimidating, so students feel eager to learn more each time. As a recent architecture graduate, I bring creativity, structure, and clear communication into my lessons, helping students organise their thoughts and express them effectively. Alongside my studies, I supported classmates by reviewing and improving their CVs and personal statements, helping them communicate their strengths more confidently and successfully. I teach remotely, creating a supportive and encouraging online environment where young learners can develop their English skills at their own pace while building lasting confidence.
