About Jennifer
I have been a substitute teacher for K-12 in over 30 schools, an assistant teacher (K), and an online poetry instructor. I have degrees in English (B.A.) and Creative Writing (M.F.A.). I have also been a volunteer tutor many years ago for chemistry and recently for college essay writing.

My teaching method has always been student centered and direct instruction depending on the lesson. I believe personalized learning is one of the most effective strategies in learning. It is important for the teacher to adapt to each student's own unique learning style. My methods of instruction involve low to moderate technology.
