About Divya
Hello! I am an experienced English teacher with 17 years of teaching background in schools and colleges. Over the years, I have helped many students from primary to secondary level (Class 1–10) improve their grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills with confidence. Currently, I work as an Assistant Professor, teaching Communication Skills and Ethics at an engineering college. My long teaching journey has given me the ability to understand the needs of students at different stages of learning. Parents can trust that their child will receive: - Clear explanations of grammar and concepts. - Personal attention to strengthen weak areas. - Interactive and engaging classes that make English enjoyable. - Guidance not only for exams but also for building strong communication skills for the future. - I believe in patience, encouragement, and consistency. Teaching Techniques & Methods I use a concept-based approach where grammar and vocabulary are explained with simple, real-life examples. My classes are interactive — I encourage students to speak, ask questions, and participate in discussions. I provide personalized feedback to every student, helping them identify strengths and areas for improvement. Structure of a Class Warm-up / Recap (5 minutes) → Quick review of the previous topic. Core Lesson (30–40 minutes) → Explanation + examples + practice activities. Interactive Practice (15–20 minutes) → Speaking, writing, or discussion exercises. Feedback & Homework (5–10 minutes) → Tips for improvement and short tasks to reinforce learning.
