I specialize in demonstrating the permanent principles of writing. Not just what to know, but how to know it. Writing rules are easy to forget; what are ways we can figure it out even without a tutor?
Each lesson plan begins with a look at the problem the student seeks to fix in their essay, writing sample, or prompt, and then we diagnose what exactly is the problem. Is it the thesis? Are the arguments well sourced? Are there contradictions? And as we finally fix the problem, tips are provided for the student to avoid the mistake the next time they write anything.
Because I write professionally and creatively, I have experience, experience that has taught me many lessons in how to quickly fix writing errors as efficiently as possible.
You don't want to take lessons, you want to quickly fix the problem and know how to avoid problems entirely. That's what I am here for.
