I base my lessons on the student's goals, but I find many paths converge in the following way. We begin by understanding the fundamental laws of English through lecture and repetitive practice. From there, we methodically build and refine the student's written voice until what they sound like to themselves in thought is closer to how they actually resonate with readers.
