About Anna
I am currently a University of York Politics student going into my third year. I have studied at A-Level English Literature (A), Politics (A) and Drama( (A*), and also achieved high results in my GCSEs. I frequently write for student publications and am politically aware and involved, as well as being passionate about literature. I want to be able to share what I enjoy about learning social sciences and humanities with students while removing the pressure I felt at school to do well, through supporting their learning and their goals.

I will work with students and parents to create a lesson plan that works for them, focusing on revising content and wider skills in essay writing, analysis, evaluation, and literacy. A typical lesson will look at reviewing class content, working on homework together if needed, and reviewing essay writing skills and techniques. I will build what I teach based on what is learnt in class, to ensure that they are as supported in their studies as possible. I aim to make the subject as enjoyable as possible and share my passion with the students so that they can also see the enjoyment in learning! I am a good listening and compassionate, and want to help alleviate the stress of school while improving grades.
