About Chantelle

Due to having the devotion, expertise and six years of teaching experience, I set up my own successful tutoring business called Teachall Tutoring. It is with great pleasure to say I achieved 100% pass rate for my 2016-17 cohort, proving I am dedicated to ensuring all of my tutoring sessions are delivered in the correct style and suit each individual's needs.

I have a vast amount of experience teaching all ages and abilities. For example, I have previously helped Key Stage two students pass 11+(5-11 year olds) and generally improve their literacy, comprehension and SpaG before attending secondary school. Also, I have also taught English Language and Literature at Key Stage three (11-14 year olds), GCSE (14-16) and A-level (17 years and above) to a variety of pupils and mature students in schools, colleges and on a one-one basis.

Lastly, in addition to my classroom and tutoring experience, I am a GCSE examiner therefore my own teaching is constantly enhanced and I have valuable insight into the assessment process. As a result of this, I can effectively prepare and support my tutees through their challenging exams.

About the lesson

As I am a super organised and logical teacher, I ensure all of my lessons have particular assessment objectives in mind and that they are split into three parts: starter, main and plenary. The starter will be a brief (five-ten minutes) independent task to refresh the skills required for the lesson. The main section of the lesson is where the hard work begins… With high level questioning, thorough discussions and analysis, you will complete a series of tasks to help embedded the skill(s) you require to progress.
Finally, we will summarise with a short plenary task which will demonstrate the objective(s) you have successfully met. Plus this will help me plan for our future lessons!

I am a warm, friendly and approachable person who sees the value in making mistakes and learning from them! Amongst making great progress, you will develop your confidence and self esteem within the subject and everyday life!
