About Spencer
I have been working as a certified ESL teacher since 2008 and I have a strong passion for this profession. I graduated from University with a Bachelors Degree in History and throughout my career I have worked with over a hundred clients helping them not just improve their spoken English but to also get into masters programs as well as secure a new employment.

My teaching philosophy is based on what I like to call the two C's, communication and confidence. I focus on communication because I want my students to be able to communicate in English as well as they do in their native language.
And, I want me students to really feel confident when they use their English and not to be nervous when they engage in English. To encourage their confidence I use a lot of positive reinforcement as well as goals setting and achievement.
