About Celia
I am a plant taxonomist with a deep passion for language and education. In addition to my masters degree in the Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants from the University of Edinburgh, I have three undergraduate degrees from different colleges. As a lifelong student who has always performed at the top of my class, I have a vast understanding of the educational requirements for students.
I love to learn and I love to share the things I have learned. I have tutored students in many different subjects throughout my twelve years of post secondary and have experience with varied learning and teaching techniques. Most importantly, I value believe in helping to make learning easy.

I provide tips and tricks for writing in English, dependent on the context and subject. I offer explanations about the origins of vocabulary and English language rules. I help edit written work and offer suggestions for how writing can be improved. I provide special advice for CV writing to keep CVs concise. As a bilingual French speaker, I also offer help learning to read and speak in French. I hold practice sessions for reading out loud and conversational French, offering gentle corrections on pronunciation.
