About Jackeline
I have been a teacher for over 30 years and I have been a Spanish tutor in Oxfordshire for the last fifteen years.
I have taught in Primary and Secondary schools. I also enjoy teaching conversational Spanish.
The majority of my students have achieved higher grades than predicted.

First I ask my students the purpose of learning Spanish and their final goal.
Then I evaluate their Spanish level by asking a few questions and this will let me assess their current comprehension level.
I teach at the pace of my students but I also try to challenge them in speaking by talking most of the time in Spanish. Being a native Spanish speaker gives my students the opportunity to listen to a native Spanish accent. If they do not understand me I translate immediately. In other words I tailor the lessons to the needs and age of my students.
This approach has helped my students reach their Spanish learning goals, whether this is an improvement in Spanish fluency or attaining a desired grade on their exams
