About Sierra

I’m a Spanish tutor with over three years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business with Spanish. My passion lies in helping learners truly connect with the language through real-world content. I use podcasts, news articles, and documentaries to immerse students in the rhythm and culture of Spanish. I believe that language is best learned when it’s alive and relevant. That’s why I focus on authentic media that reflects how Spanish is spoken and written today. My lessons include clear guidance on active listening and how to pick up vocabulary in context. Together, we explore how language works in different settings from casual conversations to formal news. I break down complex narratives into smaller, meaningful chunks. This helps students absorb grammar and vocabulary naturally, without feeling overwhelmed. We also develop critical thinking by analysing what we hear and read. I love seeing students gain the confidence to understand native speakers and respond with ease. Learning Spanish should be exciting, not stressful.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is relaxed, friendly, and focused on real conversation. I help students feel comfortable speaking Spanish in everyday situations, especially online. We use real websites, product pages, and customer reviews to build vocabulary and confidence. I specialise in helping immigrants and newcomers learn how to navigate the digital marketplace. That includes online shopping, reading product descriptions, asking for help in customer chats, and understanding e-commerce terms in Spanish. I also guide students through the basics of comparing prices, placing orders, and tracking deliveries. We’ll practice how to write reviews, ask for refunds, and respond to service emails. My lessons are interactive and based on real-life needs. I use visuals and online tools to make learning easy and practical.
