About Eva
Hiya! My name is Eva.
I am kind, patient and understanding tutor. I have lots of teaching experience previously working in both an international summer school, as well as, mentoring students in the Curriculum Support department of my local secondary school.
I am currently at Bangor University studying Psychology and have a solid background in both Geography and English Literature. I am happy to tutor in any of these subjects so please feel free to get in touch!
I strive to ensure that all of my lessons are tailored to best suit the needs of every student. I have access to a wide range of resources in order to implement this.
I really recognize the importance of feeling confident in a topic or subject. I therefore aim to teach at a pace that each individual feels comfortable with so as to maximize their progress and enjoyment in that subject area.
Right now I live near Brighton and most of my free time is spent studying for my degree, playing netball for my University team and enjoying the company of my family.

I have previously mentored Year 10 and 11 students in a Curriculum Support Department. Here, I saw the challenges that many students face with their learning and wider social development. I realized the importance of establishing a positive relationship to increase these students' capacity to learn. I have had to think creatively to find effective ways to support each pupil's learning.
I have also worked in am international summer schools. Here, I planned and delivered activity days, events and induction lessons.
