About Amy
I have just returned from teaching ESL and high school courses in Nantong, China. I had a class of twenty high school students who I taught ESL Levels 3 and 4 of the LLI programme. Following ESL I taught two subjects: Media and English Literature. I am currently looking to tutor English in my hometown, Brighton. Next year I plan to teach in Korea.

I love to make my lessons as enjoyable as I can by relating to the individual student. I find teaching a class of students is difficult as it's impossible to relate to everyone; which is why I loved my time working with each of my students individually. Every lesson I would sit with each student working solely with them for as long as they needed, which I feel gave them the help they needed on a personal private level away from the sometimes intimidating classroom environment. I love to get to know my students and teach English based on their interests, and goals as I feel the language comes much more naturally this way.
