About Rachel

I have been teaching for 15+ years and after a short break I have come to miss it. I hold various qualifications relating to ESOL and Adult Literacy as well as EFL. I consider myself to be an approachable, fun and effective teacher who works with all of her students to find out what works best for them. I have a large amount of experience with second language learners with dyslexia and will tailor learning plans and resources to each student individually. Feel free to message me with any questions

About the lesson

I offer both formal and informal ESOL lessons covering all skills to people of all nationalities. Lessons are 1 hour via Zoom. I'm pretty flexible, but have to fit around my own studies. I am qualified in both EFL and ESOL and work well with adults and children. I have an enhanced DBS certificate. I have 15 years teaching experience working with all ages in groups and one to one. Group lessons are available on request.

Rachel is an amazing, down to earth and understanding teacher. When I have difficulty understanding the concept of the lesson or conversation she has always be able to break it down for me, in a way that I can grasp. My daughter, who is 12, has similar issues when learning and Rachel has been able to help her too. I highly recommend Rachel as a teacher.
