About Callie

I have a B.A. in Psychology and an MLitt in Philosophy. I have several years of tutoring experience with students aged 5 to 30 in English and essay writing. I've written professionally for medical records and academically for two dissertations and many essays in between. I've also had experience in teaching English as a second language.

About the lesson

I am happy to give lessons to all age levels in English and essay writing. I have worked with international students who are writing an essay or dissertation in English as their second language. I can work with individuals from all countries, languages, and academic backgrounds, as long as their primary focus is to better their English writing and speaking abilities. I am also happy to meet with any students who want to improve their grammar and writing skills for high school to postgraduate level papers, and for college application essays.

Margo

I highly recommend Callie as a teacher because she taught me! We often studied together while in university, and many times the evenings turned into her explaining concepts and ideas to me. She is very articulate, able to break down a complex idea a explain it in multiple ways until you understand it. If you are having trouble with a class or concept, I highly recommend reaching out to Callie, she sure helped me!
