About Alma
I am a linguistic enthusiast: I grew up in a European context and attended a European school, where I learnt French and English to its perfection. My native tongue is Italian, I was originally born in Florence before moving to Brussels. I then continued my learning of English by pursuing a Bachelor degree in History and Politics at Trinity College Dublin. I work as a tutor and journalist, and I am currently learning Arabic. My experience acquiring all these languages allowed me to develop a strong teaching practice that is successful in meeting my student's needs. Let's get started!

The lessons are centred around your needs and what you need to work on, whether it is starting from scratch, improving your pronunciation, writing or oral skills. Classes are also framed around what you will use the language for, whether it is for a job or daily conversations. I use images to learn vocabulary, which I strongly focus on so that you can become confident with the language quickly. I also give homework and grammar lessons - the method used is called "acquisition", which you can learn more about at this link (concealed information) We can work around you needs, and take every step to suit your learning ambitions!
