About Ruth

I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor with 5 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over time, I have taught approximately 150 to 200 students, helping them strengthen their language skills and academic confidence.

My passion for education inspires me to create lessons that are both structured and engaging. I believe that students learn best when they feel supported and encouraged. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving fluency and communication skills.

One important achievement in my career has been helping students move from basic understanding to advanced communication skills. Many of my students have successfully improved their exam scores and academic writing abilities.

I always adapt my lessons to suit individual learning styles. I use real-life examples, discussions, and practice exercises to make learning practical and enjoyable.

Teaching allows me to inspire students to believe in their abilities and work towards their goals with confidence.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching method focuses on student-centred learning. Every student has different goals, so I first understand their needs—whether they want English for school, work, travel, or daily conversation. Based on this, I design lessons using real-life examples and case studies.

I use practical situations like ordering food, giving presentations, writing emails, or solving workplace problems. This helps students build confidence and speak naturally. I encourage active participation through discussions, storytelling, and role-play activities.

Motivation is a key part of my teaching. I inspire students by showing them their improvement over time. I set small targets and guide them step by step. I believe confidence grows when students feel supported and understood.

When students face difficulties, I apply problem-solving techniques. I break complex grammar rules into simple explanations. I provide practice exercises that help them think and respond independently.

Integrity guides my teaching practice. I am honest about strengths and areas for improvement. I maintain professionalism and respect in every class.
