About Abigail

I am a former A Level English Literature student who has been achieving A* and A grades thus far.
I specialise in a range of GCSE and AS/A Level literary texts including: Macbeth (GCSE), An Inspector Calls (GCSE), A Christmas Carol (GCSE),
I have experience with tutoring younger students before, through volunteering, and received positive feedback from both the students and their subject teachers as significant improvements were seen.
I currently hold a university offer from UCL and I attended Brampton Manor Academy Sixth Form, an excelling state school that creates opportunities for hundreds of ethnic minority students to attend Oxbridge and other top Russel Group universities.

About the lesson

My teaching method is rather interactive because it increases the students’ abilities to remember what they learn. I create engaging spreadsheets that cater to the students’ age groups and provide short tests/quizzes at a frequency that suits the students in order to assess their progress. Although I encourage students to refrain from copying my slides word for word, I like to make sure that students have access to the lessons after each session upon request. This will allow them to bridge any gaps within their notes.
