About Chloe
Hello! My name is Chloe, I'm 14 and a rising sophomore at a private boarding school in Virginia, Episcopal High School. If I had three words to describe myself, I'd choose helpful, optimistic, and understanding. But, growing up in a big household, I'm also fun-loving and light-hearted. My hobbies at school are walking faculty dogs, rowing, and volleyball. But, my hobbies outside of school consist of walking my dog, cooking, and playing video games. I hope we can work together in the future!

I have a natural affinity for helping others, so I've grown up helping those around me. I have a seven year old sister, who I love helping with her school work. I realized I actually had fun helping her, so I thought "Hmm.. I should help others online too!" With this, I am choosing to take up tutoring this summer. I am academically driven, finishing my freshmen year with a 4.0 GPA while taking a 10th-grade honors math class. But, I've always excelled in English classes, especially topics around grammar, proofreading, and reading literacy. When handling English topics, like essays, theses, and creative writing, I tend to take a more blunt route and dig straight to the problem. I believe writing is like an onion, with multiple layers, but cutting straight to the root and then working backward is key. While this method can seem harsh, I always keep a positive and encouraging attitude, ensuring my student is confident in their writing.
