About Rylan
With 14+ years of experience as a flute tutor, I have successfully guided around 150 students across different levels and backgrounds. I am dedicated to creating a comfortable and positive learning environment where students can grow with confidence.
My teaching style focuses on clear communication and flexibility, allowing me to design lessons based on each student’s pace and needs.
I emphasise building a strong foundation in breathing techniques, posture, fingering, and tone development. To make lessons interesting, I include creative exercises, songs, and simple improvisation.
This helps students stay engaged and enjoy the learning process. I am known for simplifying complex techniques and guiding students step by step. I also support students with basic music theory and listening skills. My aim is to help students improve consistently and enjoy music.
