About Amrit
Hello! My name is Amrit Kaur, and I am a passionate English tutor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). I also hold a Tourist Guide License under the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, which reflects my strong communication skills, deep understanding of Malaysian culture, and ability to engage with people from all walks of life. With several years of experience teaching students from diverse proficiency levels—ranging from beginner to advanced SPM candidates—I specialize in exam-focused yet interactive English lessons that are tailored to individual needs. I am fully familiar with the CEFR-aligned SPM English syllabus, and I structure my lessons around proven techniques to help students master reading, writing, listening, and speaking. My teaching style is: Student-centered – I adjust my pace and approach to suit each student’s learning style.
