About Adam
Hello, I’m Adam, a registered paramedic, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, educator and healthcare coach based in Hampshire.
I have worked across emergency care, urgent care, primary care and remote clinical assessment. This varied experience allows me to bring practical, real-world examples into my tutoring while recognising the different challenges faced by students and experienced clinicians.
Alongside clinical practice, I have worked as an Associate Lecturer and Clinical Team Educator. I am passionate about making healthcare education accessible, relevant and supportive—particularly for learners who may feel overwhelmed, lack confidence or struggle to organise and communicate what they know.
I hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, a bachelor’s degree in paramedic practice, an independent prescribing qualification and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. I am also completing a professional doctorate exploring the professional identity and clinical decision-making of Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
My approach is friendly, practical and non-judgemental. I enjoy helping people recognise their existing strengths, overcome barriers and develop a clear plan for achieving their academic or professional goals.
Outside work, I enjoy running, strength training and creating educational resources for healthcare professionals.

My lessons are practical, personalised and focused on helping you achieve a specific academic, clinical or professional goal. I work collaboratively, adapting each session to your existing experience, preferred learning style and the areas in which you would most like to develop.
Depending on your goals, sessions may include:
• Exploring clinical scenarios and developing your clinical reasoning
• Breaking down complex healthcare topics into manageable explanations
• Planning assignments and strengthening academic writing
• Developing critical thinking and reflective practice
• Reviewing portfolios, presentations or interview responses
• Coaching conversations focused on confidence, career direction and achievable goals
I use discussion, structured questioning, realistic examples and constructive feedback. My role is not simply to give you answers, but to help you understand the subject, recognise your strengths and become more confident working independently. For academic tutoring, I will support you in developing your own ideas and skills while maintaining academic integrity.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. We will begin by agreeing on a clear objective, spend the main part of the session working through it together, and finish by summarising your learning and identifying any practical next steps. Shorter or longer sessions may also be suitable depending on your needs.
I am a registered paramedic and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, a bachelor’s degree in paramedic practice, an independent prescribing qualification and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. My experience includes working as an Associate Lecturer, Clinical Team Educator and workplace mentor. I have also delivered continuing professional development to more than 100 healthcare volunteers and create educational resources for healthcare professionals.
My lessons are primarily intended for adult learners, including student and registered paramedics, nurses, trainee and qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners, allied health professionals and others working or studying within healthcare. I can support learners from undergraduate level through to postgraduate study, as well as clinicians preparing for interviews, new roles or career progression.
