About Meike
My name is Meike Schmitt, I am currently studying German, Philosophy and Education at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. I completed my history and German Abitur with 15 points and conducted a two-week German language course for the upper school. I was in English LK and did a language study trip to Hawaii this summer and received my Cambridge C2 level certificate. In addition to the German language course, which I led after graduation, I have been giving private tutoring in German and English for high school graduates for a year now.

Through my studies, I am familiar with competence-oriented education and its positive effects. My aim is to provide long-term and interdisciplinary skills, such as better reading skills and a more up-to-date style of expression. Depending on the discipline and individual performance of the students, I adapt the teaching method so that the best possible result can be achieved.
