About Huw
I am an experienced guitarist who has a Bachelor of Music degree from the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) with a background in performance and teaching young students. I am adept at teaching absolute beginners and more experienced players and used to teaching a variety of ages. I am able to instruct students in a wide variety of styles: Classical, Jazz, Funk, Pop, and Rock and able to prepare students for grade exams from ABRSM, Trinity, RGT, and Rockschool, while also able to create custom lesson plans and teaching to a student’s goals and expectations.
Core qualifications:
BMus undergraduate degree from the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM)
ABRSM Grade 8 Guitar, Grade 6 Piano, and Grade 6 Theory
Trinity Grade 6 Guitar
Experienced Teacher
Fluent in English, French, and Dutch – Proficient in Spanish
