About Niall
Hello, my name is Niall. I’m an experienced English and Maths tutor, and EFL teacher. I can help you in a wide range of areas, from spelling and punctuation to reading and essay writing, from simple maths to statistics and algebra. I have a passion for education and am more than capable of helping students build confidence and tackle daunting exams. I work with students of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're a parent trying to get your child into a good school, or an adult trying to build their skills for the professional world, I will get you where you want to be in as short a time as possible. My clients have included children sitting 7+ exams, A-level students and even adults from foreign countries hoping to improve their English for the British workforce. I went to school in Melbourne, where I achieved high scores in Further Maths and English literature. I went on to study writing and journalism at both the University of Melbourne and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, before moving to London to explore the British side of my ancestry. I understand the pressure of school exams and believe most students benefit from one-on-one tutoring in a comfortable, private environment away from the classroom. I specialise in a range of learning techniques, but believe the most important thing is for students to feel as relaxed as possible with their tutor. I have a warm personality, a great sense of humour and get on well with all my students, so don't hesitate to contact me ASAP if you need help. I conduct my lessons online over the virtual platforms with which my students are most comfortable.
