About Lexi
I am a keen and eager traveller who loves to explore the outdoors and learn about other cultures, traditions and languages. During my three years of travelling, I visited over 15 countries and developed a love of languages. I have witnessed first hand how teaching and learning another language can improve lives and support and build communication, jobs and opportunities for many. Since returning back from my travelling, I have completed a level 5 TEFL course so that I can now teach English online to support others fulfil their dreams.

I have a passion for teaching, especially younger children and those who are beginning to learn English. I have over ten years teaching experience and have taught children from the ages of 3-11 years old. In 2011, I graduated from Roehampton University with a degree in Primary Education. Since then, I have worked as a full time class teacher, a supply teacher and a tutor and have experience in delivering whole class, adult focussed, group, and one to one learning experiences. I am extremely skilled at planning, preparing, resourcing and developing lessons and activities that are personalised to my pupils' needs to ensure that they meet their next steps and move towards meeting their full potential.
In my classes, I use a range of tools, techniques and resources to engage my pupils and ensure that the teaching and learning is interactive and fun. Some of these will include flashcards, books, songs, props and games and will be adapted and chosen to support your interests and needs.
