About Miriam

I've been a language teacher for many years. I've studied Philology, I took the teaching training course for secondary school in Spain and a master's degree in literature. I've experience teaching a second language to anyone of any age. I've worked in language centres and as a tutor for more than 10 years.

About the lesson

We all have different aptitudes for learning something new, so I try to use a method (or combination of more than one) that matches a student or a group of students. Nowadays, the communicative approach is considered the most effective way to learn to speak a language. It is the method used by most teachers and manuals but combined with other methods, it could be very effective depending on the student's goals.

The materials for the classes are good and it's great learning from a native speaker who is very knowledgable and helps improve your mistakes in pronunciation and speaking. Miriam also has great communication skills and she is very friendly and approachable. I highly recommend Miriam enough as a Spanish tutor.
